Meeting Tuesday

There will be a meeting of the Peace and Social Actions Club this Tuesday (April 29). The meeting will be held in Room 108, at 3:15 (to provide time for Ms. Miller to travel over from Abrookin). A "powwow" will be held in the meantime before the meeting.

We will be discussing a number of important subjects. We have a new project proposal "to raise awareness of the mistreatment of children in the Syrian conflict". We will also discuss the merger between Key Club and Peace and Social Actions Club.

News Update

The Peace and Social Actions Club had a very productive meeting on Monday. We made final arrangements to donate $100 each to the Albany High School junior and senior prom committees. We also discussed potentially donating money to help send special education students at Abrookin on a small field trip. The other topic discussed was a potential merger with the Key Club starting next year. Another meeting will be held next week (date TBD).

Meeting Monday

There will be a meeting of the Peace and Social Actions Club this upcoming Monday (April 21) after school. The meeting will be held in room 108.

We will have a number of things to discuss. We will finalize our plans for transferring funds to the junior and senior prom committees. We will also be discussing the transition of the recycling project over to the Key Club beginning next year. Lastly, we will discuss the future of the club itself.
